Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Narrative Boutique and Studio Narrative (“we,” “our,” “us”). By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to the following simple terms:

  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

  • We may update these Terms occasionally; using the site after changes means you accept the update.

  • We currently sell to both New Zealand and international customers.

  • At this stage, all orders are retail only. Wholesale enquiries are welcome via [your email].

  • We comply with New Zealand consumer law, including the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Shipping Policy

We work with Starshipit to calculate live shipping rates at checkout, both within NZ and internationally.

  • Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey.

  • Delivery times vary depending on your location and courier delays (international parcels may also be held at customs).

  • If your parcel is delayed or missing, please contact the courier first. We’re happy to support you in communicating with them.

  • If the parcel is confirmed lost or damaged in transit, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund where possible.

Refund Policy

We take care with every order, photographing products before they leave us so you know they’re sent in perfect condition.

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

  • If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a suitable remedy.

  • Returned items must be in original condition and packaging. Refunds cannot be issued for products that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery.

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.

Your privacy matters to us. We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 and handle your details with care.

What we collect: Your name, contact details, shipping address, and payment information — just enough to process your order and keep in touch.

How we use it:

  • To process and deliver your order.

  • To share our newsletter or offers — but only if you’ve opted in. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Third parties: We use trusted services like Wix, Starshipit, Stripe, and Mailchimp, which may process your information securely on our behalf.
